I calculated C1220's life time based your simulation report.
Its temperature was very high too difficult to meet requirement(55,000 Hours).
Please refer to attached document then release which E-cap apply at this model.
I think they(C1220/C1238/C1244/C1247) must have high temperature and long life.
Please release ASAP for our review.

Dear Tom

As calculate life time, it can endure 20,000Hours.
Important factor is Tmax(Maximum temperature) not TP(Life time at maximum temperature).
I think 135'C and 3500Hours grade can endure 50,000 Hours.
You need to source more 135'C/3500Hours grade E-cap.
Please source ASAP.

Hi, Kim

We found three kinds of high temperature capacitor (UBT/UBW/UBY series) from NICHICON.
After we calculate the life time those can pass 50,000 hr requirement.
In my opinion, we can thermal test first, then decide to change high temperature capacitor or not.
Could you provide me the thermal test condition of audio class-D amplifier (play music or play sine wave ....).
